Bantwal: A scooter rider was killed when a jeep, approaching from the opposite direction, collided with his vehicle at Navoora on Friday September 3.
The deceased has been identified as Abbas (60), a resident of Navoora.
It is said that Abbas’s scooter collided with a jeep coming from the opposite direction near Navoora Masjid.
He was immediately taken to the nearby hospital but he did not respond to the treatment and died.
A case has been registered at Melkar traffic police station.
