Italy: Netflix’s La Casa de Papel or Money Heist is one of the most popular and loved shows. After much anticipation by fans across the globe, the newest season of the Netflix web series was aired last week.

Fans are excited and are discussing the show and its character on all social media platforms which means they are indirectly promoting the show for free, but they also wouldn’t think twice before spilling spoilers online.

And, Netflix came up with a unique solution to prevent them from sharing spoilers. Over 100 unsuspecting fans were invited for an exclusive screening of the much-anticipated show and were told that they would be flown to Madrid on the morning of the official release.

However, as soon as the fans boarded the plane, ‘The Professor’ divulged his secret plans to passengers. He said that they were chosen because they were the “worst spoiler makers” of Italy. To ensure they wouldn’t ruin the show, the screening would take place in the air, where they couldn’t contact anyone on the outside.

The fans were held hostage on the plane by a crew dressed as the gang from Money Heist for the duration of the five episodes in the new season.

As the attendees were cut off from the Internet, millions of fans on the ground could view the series finally free of spoilers while those on board had an unforgettable experience.
