Bengaluru: Five people, including two women, have been booked for allegedly violating the night curfew in Bengaluru by taking a joyride.
A video of the incident purportedly showing the accused sticking their heads out of a car’s windows, standing through the sunroof, dancing and chatting as they drove past Sankey Lake, had gone viral.
The accused were travelling in a luxury Mercedes-Benz car which is owned by a prominent businessman from Bengaluru. The owner has been booked under Sections 279 (Rash driving) and 336 (Acting rashly or negligently as to endanger human life) of the Indian Penal Code.
