Police raid rave party, detain 11

Bengaluru: Anekal police conducted a raid at a private resort on the outskirts of Bengaluru and deatined 11 people for taking part in a rave party.

The police said that the organisers were conducting the rave party on the pretext of a jungle safari and had arranged for a DJ system and drug peddlers to supply the narcotics at the party.

The party-goers attempted to escape upon seeing the police, however, the police managed to apprehend 11 persons.

Police seized ganja and other narcotics that were being consumed at the party.

It is gathered that most of the party-goers were students from neighboring states, including few from Karnataka.
