Two stolen cows rescued by members of Hindu organisation

Karkala: Two stolen cows that were being transported in a car were rescued by the activists of a Hindu organization.
The organisation held a mega protest meeting against cattle theft at Shirlalu and within an hour the members of Hindu Jagarana Vedike rescued the cows.
The activists followed the Maruti 800 car. Reports state that the car was moving towards Kevashe when it hit a tree. Following the accident, the ones inside the car fled.
A case has been filed at Ajekar police station.
