Gold worth Rs 13 lakh seized at M’luru airport

Customs Officials at Mangaluru International airport seized 293. 63 grams of gold (24 kt) valuing at Rs 13,88,823 from an air passenger here on September 21.

The passenger, a Kasargod native had arrived from Dubai via Air India Flight IXE 384 at around 0100 hours.

He had concealed the gold inside two layers of black colored cloth concealed inside a pink and maroon-colored floral designed blanket.
