People`s Rajyotsava Award: Citizens asked to recommend the achievers names

Bengaluru: ”As every year this year also Karnataka is celebrating Rajyotsava on November 1. Specially this year 66 achievers of various fields will be awarded Rajyotsava award. All citizens are therefore requested to identify talented persons whose excellence and achievements really deserve to be recognized from various fields”. Minister for Kannada and Culture V.Sunil Kumar said in press meet here on Saturday.
Minister,Sunil Kumar requested citizens to recommend achievers through Seva sindhu online portal. ”Any Citizen of Karnataka can be recommend Three names in a special entry form prepared for the Rajyotsava Awards. The application form allows you to provide details of the three prospects, name of the field in which they have performed, their hometown, address and contact number”.
”Recommended names will be presented to a panel of experts, they will reviewed and consider if they are eligible for the Rajyotsava Award. In addition, this prestigious award is chosen directly by the general public, Achiever with the exception of sportsmen who must be at least 60 years of age”. minister said.
“For the the first time government is practicing this policy, Public can enter Seva Sindhu App through mobile also” minister said.
last date for nominations for Rajyotsava Awards is October 15, 2021.
Earlier Central government is also committed to transforming Padma Awards into “People`s Padma”.
