Datta Peetha- HC verdict vindicates Hindu sentiments: CT Ravi

Bengaluru: The BJP National General Secretary CT Ravi has opined that the High Court’s verdict in the Bababudangiri case respects the religious sentiments of all Hindus.

Ravi said, the appointment of the 3-member Justice Nagamohan Das Committee was illegal and Vishva Hindu Parishad’s contentions have been vindicated.

Welcoming the High Court’s verdict, he said, it is a victory for the Hindus who have been struggling for the cause. “It’s a blessing for all who believe in the Datta Peetha,” he added.

The verdict has raised the respect for the judiciary among the masses. It was inappropriate to appoint a Maulvi for holding religious rites at the shrine. Justice has been served and the truth shall always prevail, he said.
