Kundapur: A dog with its head stuck inside a plastic container was rescued by firemen in Tekkatte, Kundapur on October 2.
The poor animal, probably looking for water, had ducked its head in the container and could not free itself. The scared animal then ran astray for quite some time.
It was noticed by Senior environmentalist Korgi Vithal Shetty, who then called local firemen for help.
Fire personnel Nagaraj Poojary, Ravindra Devadiga, Chandrakant Naik and Basavaraj swung into action and set the dog free
