Bengaluru: Rowdy-sheeter, lover rob items from houses to fund jolly rides

Bengaluru: A rowdy-sheeter and his lover were arrested for allegedly visiting houses under the pretext of renting them and then stealing valuable items by distracting the owners in Bengaluru.

The arrested accused have been identified as Vinay (32) from Chandra Layout and Keertana (25) from Hoysala Nagar.

The accused apparently said that they did so as they wanted money to fund their jolly rides. The arrests were made on the basis of CCTV footage.

Vinay is said to be a regular offender with several cases registered against him in Rajajinagar, Basaveshwar Nagar and other police stations.
