Kavoor Police arrest three juveniles for murderous assault

Mangaluru: Three juveniles have been booked by police on October 10 for the murderous assault on two brothers.
On the evening of October 9, two brothers, Azeem and Ashique, were attacked by a gang of youth for a petty reason.
According to the police complaint, the altercation started over the use of abusive language. Azeem got a call from a person who identified himself as Gautam and informed him that Subhash had berated him behind his back and disconnected the call. When Azeem confronted Subhash about this allegation, They both had a verbal spat where Subhash dared Azeem to come near the Math in Kavoor.
When Azeem went to the spot along with his brother Ashique, they were allegedly physically assaulted by a group of youngsters with soda and beer bottles, sticks, and stones. The brothers named Subhash, Padmanabha, Chirag, Shashank, and others as the attackers. The complaint alleges that the youth also threatened to kill them.
Presently, both Azeem and Ashique are getting medical treatment at a private hospital in the city.
The Kavoor police have registered a case in this regard and have apprehended three juveniles based on preliminary investigations.
