Kalaburagi: Earthquake tremors were felt again in the district. A mild earthquake has occurred in Chincholi and Kalagi taluks.

The tremors were felt in several villages including Chimmanachoda, Mukaramba, Tengali, Kodli, Hodebiranalli, Gadikeshwar, Hosalli, and Tajalapur.
People in some villages fled from their houses feeling the vibrations from the earth. Due to the frequent earthquakes, an atmosphere of fear and anxiety has gripped the people in the district, reports said.
Two other earthquakes were also recorded on Saturday and Sunday. The tremors on Sunday were recorded at 3.4 magnitude on the Richter scale.
Angry villagers had also held a protest on Monday, against the inaction of the government. They complained that the government officials did not provide any early warning about the quakes.
