Customers with a BSNL fibre and digital subscriber line (DSL) will receive up to four months of free broadband access from the state-owned telecom company. The deal is valid across India for BSNL landline and Broadband over Wi-Fi customers. Separately, BSNL has made its Bharat Fibre plans consistent throughout all of its circles, with the exception of the Andaman & Nicobar region.

Bharat Fibre by BSNL is a fiber-to-the-home (FTTH) broadband service that costs Rs 449 a month. According to TelecomTalk, BSNL is giving its Bharat Fibre, DSL, landline, and BBoWiFi customers four months of free broadband service once they pay 36 months of rental. This takes the total number of months of service to 40.

BSNL also offers three months of free service to broadband subscribers who pay a 24-month rental in advance, albeit this is reduced to one month if you pay a 12-month rental in advance. Customers of BSNL can take advantage of the offer by dialing the toll-free number 1800 00345 1500 or visiting their local customer service centre.

Aside from the free service, BSNL has standardised its Bharat Fibre internet package across the country, with the exception of the Andaman and Nicobar Islands. According to KeralaTelecom, the change affects all Bharat Fibre plans, which range in price from Rs 449 to Rs 1,499 per month.
