Covid-19 norms violation: Case filed against HJV for holding foot march without prior permission

Mangaluru: An offence for violating COVID-19 rules was registered against Hindu Jagarana Vedike (HJV) for holding a foot march without prior permission.
HJV activists had held a foot march from Mahishamardini temple at Kadiyali to Ambalpadi Mahakali Amma temple on October 15. Thousands of members from various parts of the district took part in the procession.
A case was registered at the city police station under the Karnataka Epidemic Diseases Act of 2020.
