Kapu: In a tragic event, a woman was killed when a car hit her as the driver of the vehicle allegedly lost control of it at Mulur, Kapu on Saturday.
The deceased has been identified as Ayesha (42), a resident of Mulur Padu.
It is said that Ayesha was walking on the side of the road near Union Bank, Mulur when the car hit her killing her on the spot.
Police officials visited the spot and conducted an inspection.
