Mangaluru: MP Nalin Kumar directs officials to complete Smart City works within stipulated period

Mangaluru: MP Nalin Kumar Kateel directed the officials to complete the Smart City project within the stipulated period.
He was speaking at the progress review meeting of Smart City projects organized in the office of the district deputy commissioner on Monday October 25.
Nalin said, “The Smart City works must not create inconveniences for the general public. Traffic diversions etc should be done with police involvement and in order to make sure the funds granted under the scheme are used judiciously, concerned officials must be on the spot when the works are in progress.”
Dakshina Kannada district deputy commissioner Dr Rajendra K V instructed the officials to provide proper information to the public regarding roads that pass through A B Shetty circle, and also display boards at the spot to guide people.
Mayor Premananda Shetty, MLAs Vedavyasa Kamath and Dr Bharath Shetty and other officials were present.
