Puneeth Rajkumar’s funeral to be held tomorrow; Mortal remains to be kept at Kanteerava Stadium

Bengaluru: Sandalwood Actor Puneeth Rajkumar passed away earlier today after suffering from a massive cardiac arrest. Family members have confirmed that his funeral will be held tomorrow.
Puneeth’s mortal remains will be kept at Kanteerava Stadium from 5 pm today to enable fans and well-wishers to pay their last respects.
The police are making arrangements and tight security is in place around the stadium. Also, theatre owners have decided to cancel evening shows on Friday.
Also, liquor shops in Bengaluru were told to close from 3 pm Friday, October 29 till October 31.
Karnataka CM Basavaraj S Bommai condoled the death of actor Puneeth Rajkumar and announced that State honours would be accorded during his funeral.
Bommai tweeted, “Shocked and deeply saddened as Karnataka’s most loved superstar #PuneetRajkumar is no longer with us. A huge personal loss and one that’s difficult to come to terms with. Praying the almighty gives the Rajkumar family and fans the strength to bear this loss.”
