Four killed, five injured in accident

Hebri: Four persons were killed and five sustained serious injuries after a lorry fell into a gorge at Agumbe Ghat here on Friday.

The driver of the lorry, which was headed towards Hebri from Shivamogga, reportedly lost control over the vehicle causing it to plunge into the gorge here. The Locals rushed to the rescue of the people and helped in removing the dead bodies.

The injured were shifted to Manipal hospital for treatment. It is gathered that the deceased are residents of Karkala
