Bengaluru: A 36-year-old woman has accused her husband of harassment after she took objection to his addiction to porn sites.
The woman had approached the First Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate (ACMM) court, which then directed Basavangudi Women’s Police station to lodge her complaint.
The couple had married in 2019 and in a short span of time, the woman came to know of his porn addiction.
In her complaint, she alleged that her husband used to lookup several porn sites and chat with call girls till late night and spent money on them. It is further stated that the man had created a profile on a matrimonial site, where he mentioned that he was divorced. When questioned about this, he started harassing her.
The woman had complained about his habits to the man’s parents but they asked her to give him a chance.
Angered by her objection to his addiction, the man then started harassing her and his parents too supported him. The woman said that she was given stale food to eat and was never taken to any of the family functions.
She pleaded the court to direct the police to investigate the matter. The police are investigating the matter.
