Vittal: 22-yr-old woman commits suicide by jumping into lake; 4 booked for abetment to suicide

Vittal:  A case of abetment to suicide was registered against four people for allegedly driving a 22-yr-old woman to suicide in Vittal.

The accused have been identified as Prashanth, Dinesh, and Yashwanth from Vittal and Rakshit from Kepu. The accused have been booked on the basis of the complaint filed by the  deceased’s mother.

The deceased has been identified as Nishmita, daughter of Babu Naik, a resident of Nethrakere in Vitlakasaba village.

Nishmita who works at a dental clinic went missing on October 10 evening. Her body was found in a nearby lake on October 11.  A death note and mobile were found at the spot.
