At least 12 injured after explosion hits mosque in Afghanistan

At least 12 persons were injured after an explosion took place inside a mosque in eastern Afghanistan. Sources said that the local mullah was among those injured in the blast.

The blast took place at around 1.30 pm when people were offering Friday prayers.

Residents said that the blast occurred after explosives located inside the mosque detonated.
