Mangaluru: Granite slab falls off truck, one dead

Mangaluru: A 30-year-old man was killed after a granite slab fell on him at a site near Attavar on Saturday, November 13.
The deceased has been identified as Abdurrahman Rilwan (30), son of Hameed, a resident of Jeppu.
It is said that the incident occurred when Rilwan who maintained accounts of the under-construction building went to photograph the granites that arrived from Rajasthan. One of the granite slabs fell off the truck crushing Rilwan.
Rilwan who was seriously injured was immediately rushed to a nearby hospital but he could not be saved.
A case has been registered.
