Uppinangady: Minor girl gives birth to baby girl

Uppinangady: A 34-year-old man was arrested by the police after the minor girl he raped gave birth to a girl child.

The arrested is Keshav, a resident of Heerembandaadi village.

Reportedly, the parents of the victim took her to the hospital after they observed her swollen tummy, thinking that she might have developed a tumor. However, after the check-up, the doctor informed the parents that she was 9 months pregnant.

On questioning her, she told that Keshav had raped her. The victim who is studying in SSLC has given birth to a girl child.

Based on the complaint filed by the victim’s parents the police have arrested Keshav.
