Ulaibettu rape-murder case: 8-year-old submits Memo to Compol; seeks stern action against accused

Mangaluru: An 8-year-old has submitted a memorandum to the Police commissioner N Shashi Kumar on November, 25 requesting him to take stern action against the accused in Ulaibettu rape and murder case.
Charvi Niranjan from Kulai who is studying in 4th standard met the police commissioner at his office and submitted a memorandum and this took an initiative in raising her voice against the rapists.
Shashi Kumar assured Charvi of taking strict action against those involved in the case.
Four persons were arrested by the police on November 24 for allegedly gangraping and killing an eight-year-old girl in Mangaluru.
The arrested are Jayban (21), Mukesh Singh (20), Muneem Singh (20), all natives of Madhya Pradesh and Manish Tirki (33), of Jharkhand. Mukesh, Jayban and Manish worked at a factory.
According to police sources, Manish had been working in the factory for 11 months while Jayban and Mukesh joined three months ago. Muneem Singh worked in Puttur as a labourer and visited Manish on the day of the incident.
