People panic as earthquake tremors felt in Bengaluru

Bengaluru: Earthquake tremors were felt in the city on Friday, causing panic among people.

The vibrations of the earth accompanied by a loud noise were felt in Rajarajeshwari Nagar, Kaggalipura, Kengeri, Jnanabharathi and Mysore road.

In many areas, panicked residents ran out of their houses, as houses started shaking by the earthquake.

Reports said that the earthquake tremors were felt in other parts of the state including Ramanagara and Mandya districts.

For some time now, the mild earthquakes continually felt in North Karnataka, Hyderabad-Karnataka region, causing panic among the people.
