Mysuru: A video showing a man and a woman being tied to an electric pole and mercilessly assaulted has gone viral on social media.
It is gathered the inhuman incident took place at Hemmaragala Village in Nanjangud Taluk in the district on Thursday.
The villagers were reportedly suspicious of illicit relations between the man and the woman. They caught hold of them, tied them up, and thrashed them mercilessly, sources said.
The woman is reportedly married to another man.
