Mangaluru: Former minister and MLA U T Khader on Saturday lashed out at the BJP government over its functioning in the state.
Speaking at a press meet, Khader said, ” The state government is responsible for all the unpleasant incidents that happen in Karnataka as they indulge in political blackmailing. The government is not letting police officials act freely and take strict action.”
He further said, ” Several people are instigating the youths against the government officials and are asking them to attack the DC. Strict action must be taken against them. Also, BJP activists are entering college campuses and attacking the students. They are arming the young people with tridents in the name of ‘Trishul Deeksha’.”
“I will work for the betterment of people of all castes and religion until I am in power. Also, I would not like to waste my time talking about the communal forces,” he added.
Khader said that students pursuing medical degrees are in a dilemma due to the policies of the BJP. MBBS classes begin in August or September and the students who appeared for the exams have not been counseled yet.
Also, if the exams are held in April they have to face NEET again, how will the students manage all these things? Why do students of Karnataka have to suffer for the wrongs committed by the central government? The common entrance test was introduced when Veerappa Moily was the minister. BJP could not even handle the existing systems, then how will they handle the new education policy? he questioned.
