Mangaluru: MLA Dr Bharath Y Shetty on  Saturday suspected a larger political conspiracy behind Nagabana vandalism case in Kulur and Kodikal.

Speaking to the media, Bharath said,” I congratulate the police officials for solving the Nagabana vandalism case. I would also like to thank Bajrang Dal and Hindu Jagarana Vedike for their peaceful protests against the incident.”

He further said, “Recently,  several incidents of attacks on religious structures have taken place. I suspect a larger political conspiracy behind this by the opposition as one of the accused belongs to a political leader’s family. I urge the police officials to arrest those who provided financial support to  the culprits.”

Talking about the MLC elections, BJP district president Sudarshan Moodbidri said that BJP is sure of winning more than 15 seats in the upcoming MLC elections.
