Bengaluru: Ex-govt official found owning 1,408% disproportionate assets

Bengaluru: The Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) conducted a raid on a former Project Director of Nirmithi Kendra in Bengaluru Rural and allegedly found that he owns Rs 29.15 crore worth illegal property, that is 1,408% disproportionate assets.

Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) officials found officer  Vasudev R N owns 28 houses with most of them on rent.

Officials claim that he owns five cars which include Skoda Octavia, Mercedes Benz and Toyota Innova. Around 925.69 grams of gold ornaments, 9 kg silver ornaments were also found alongside Rs 1.31 crore stashed in various bank accounts.

ACB officials said that of the total property seized, Rs 26.78 crore was immovable.

A probe into the former government official’s assets will be continued, ACB said.
