Mysuru: Man who served jail term for murdering first wife kills second wife

Mysuru: A man who had served a jail term for the death of his first wife has been arrested by the city police for killing his secong wife. He also seriously injured four of her relatives with a sickle in a Nanjangud village late on Wednesday, December 1 night.

The accused is Eraiah and the deceased is Ningamma, his second wife.

Eraiah picked up a quarrel with his wife over a trivial issue that ended in her murder. Ningamma’s parents and two neighbours who went to her help were also attacked.

The condition of four injured persons, including two women, is critical. They have been shifted to a private hospital in Mysuru.
