Mangaluru: Explosives found in car at MIA parking lot; Owner arrested

Mangaluru: A man carrying explosives in his car at Mangaluru International Airport was arrested by police officials on November 30.
The car belonged to Ronnie D Souza (32), a resident of Havanje, Udupi.
It is said that on November 30 evening, CISF personnel noticed a car with its lights on at the airport parking lot. When the personnel went near the car, they found guns on the car seat.
The car owner Ronnie was questioned and later complaint was filed at the local police station.
Police held a press meet today and announced that they have seized weapons and explosives worth Rs 2,00,000 from the accused.
