Veteran journalist Vinod Dua no more

Veteran journalist Vinod Dua breathed his last at Delhi’s Apollo Hospital on Saturday. He was 67.

The news of his demise was confirmed by his daughter Mallika Dua. In an Instagram post Mallika said “Our irreverent, fearless and extraordinary father, Vinod Dua has passed away.”

His cremation will be held at the Lodhi crematorium tomorrow.

Dua’s health condition had suffered after he had contracted Covid19 infection during the second wave. Since then he has been in and out of hospitals.

Dua was a Hindi broadcast journalism pioneer with stints in Doordarshan and NDTV, was last recently moved to the Intensive Care Unit of Apollo Hospital on the advice of doctors.
