Neermarga assault case: 4 arrested

Mangaluru: Police officials have arrested four persons for allegedly assaulting a 38-year-old man at Padu, Neermarga outskirts of the city here on Friday, December 10.

The injured was identified as Riaz Ahmad (38) from Adyar Padav. Police officials have also found ladies’ footwear in Riaz’s car.

Riaz, who works as an auto-rickshaw driver and runs a land business, was attacked by a group of unidentified miscreants in the Neermarga Padu area. He has been admitted to a nearby hospital and is out of danger.

A case has been registered and further investigations are underway.
