Puttur: Woman attacked over alleged illegitimate relationship

Puttur: A woman was attacked by an angry crowd for having an alleged illegitimate relationship. The incident took place under Uppinangady police station limits.
The complainant Abdul Rahiman, resident of Kavalakatte House in Bantwal taluk claimed that the woman Shahanaz was attacked while she was speaking to him near his shop dealing in scrap.
He alleged that his wife Haseena and driver Afrid accused the woman of having an illegitimate relationship with him, and attacked her.
The video that went viral shows two-three men attacking Shahanaz.
A case has been registered.
