Jharkhand government on Wednesday announced its decision to slash fuel prices by Rs 25 in fuel prices. However, the price relief is only for two-wheelers.

Taking to Twitter, Jharkhand CM Hemant Soren said that the lower and middle-income class people have been most affected with the continuous increase in prices of petrol and diesel. Thus at the state level, the government has decided to offer a price relief of Rs 25 per litre on petrol for two-wheeler vehicles.

The reduction in petrol price will come into effect from January 26, 2022.
