CM Bommai urges DCs to work for the betterment of people

Bengaluru: Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai on Thursday urged all the Deputy Commissioners to work hard for the betterment of the people.

He was speaking during a meeting with the DCs at Bengaluru on Thursday, December 30.

Bommai asked the DCs to not behave rudely with the people and to be kind while dealing with public issues. He also warned of strict action against those District commissioners who have not yet sanctioned the flood relief funds to the people.

DCs will be held responsible for all the incomplete work in their district. Hence, make sure that all the public works are completed on time, he added.

Revenue Minister R Ashok,  Chief Secretary to the government, Ravikumar and other senior government officials were also present.
