In a separate incident, two youngsters were killed after their motorbikes hit the median near Indira Canteen on Outer Ring Road near PES University. The accident happened as they were going from Mysuru Road towards the 100 Feet Ring Road.

The deceased were identified as Lakshmeesha (28), an engineer, and Raghavendra (32), a lab technical assistant.

They partied at a Nagarabhavi resto-bar with their friends and were returning to their homes at Byatarayanapura on two separate bikes. Reports said that not wearing helmets contributed to the fatality.
