Baikampady: Ammonia leakage at fish processing plant; police personnel deployed

Baikampady: Panic gripped the people of Baikampady as ammonia gas has been leaked from a nearby fish processing plant on Tuesday.

Out of the 80 employees, 20 have been admitted to a nearby hospital.  Fire and Police personnel have been deployed to ensure that people do not come near the factory.

Locals and laborers working in the nearby factories have been evacuated.
