Kapu: Overturned tempo blocks traffic on NH66

Kapu: A tyre burst caused a tempo truck to overturn on the flyover on National Highway 66 here on Wednesday morning.
The tempo was transporting areca nut from Siddapur to Mangaluru when the tyre suddenly exploded. As a result, the driver lost control over the wheel and the vehicle flipped over. The driver and the cleaner, however, miraculously escaped unhurt.
The truck blocked both lanes on the highway causing a traffic jam. Kapu police arrived at the spot and helped ease traffic movement.
