Udupi: ACB sleuths confiscate Rs 2.5 lac from UUDA engineer during raids

Udupi: Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) sleuths on Thursday January 13 apprehended three officials of the Udupi Urban Development Authority (UUDA) office at Adi Udupi here.
UUDA engineer Guruprasad, Officers of the authority, Naima Sayyid and Prasad were taken into custody following the raids, during which a sum of Rs 2.5 lakhs was confiscated from Guruprasad.
Reportedly the officers sought bribes to issue licence for commercial purpose
