Mangaluru: Woman and newborn die in hospital, family alleges medical negligence

A 33-year-old mother and her newborn child died at a private hospital in the city.
The deceased is Savita (33), a resident of Vitla. She died hours after her newborn’s death.
The family has now alleged that Savita and the baby died due to medical negligence.
Speaking with this regard Mangaluru Police Commissioner Shashi Kumar said that he has asked the family members to speak to the doctors first and then file a case.
