B’luru: Senior Kannada journalist killed in a lorry-bike accident

Bengaluru: In a tragic mishap, senior Kannada journalist Gangadhar Murthy(49) was killed in a road accident that took place in front of the Town Hall here on Sunday.

A lorry went out of control after hitting a road divider and flipped over. Gangadhar who was on his way to work at Chamarajpet on his motorbike was pinned under it. He was rushed to Victoria Hospital for emergency care but succumbed to the injuries.

The deceased journo is survived by his wife and two children. Halasur gate traffic police have registered a case in this regard.
