Udupi: the district administration’s decision to deny people’s entry at beaches beyond 7 pm has received a good response from the public and tourists alike.
Despite being Sunday, there was very low footfall at Malpe beach. With the strict enforcement of Covid guidelines, the number of visitors to the beachfront has seen a markable decline. Beach-side traders and shopkeepers did not have the expected turnover.
Huge crowds at Panambur Beach
Mangaluru: Following the government decision to revoke the weekend curfew in the state, beachgoers in huge numbers flocked to the Panamboor beach on Sunday. People who had been at home during the past two weekends made a beeline to the beaches in droves with their families for enjoying the weekends. Tourists from outer districts were also seen in large numbers.
