Hijab row: Not going to budge from our stand under any circumstance, says MLA Raghupati Bhat

Udupi: MLA Raghupati Bhat on Wednesday, January 26 said that those students who not ready to give up on Hijabs should attend the classes online and take their examinations.

The MLA said that they will request the six students and their parents to give up wearing Hijab to the classrooms. “If they do not agree they can attend the classes online and take their examinations,” he added

He further added, “It is not right on the part of the parents to ruin their children’s future. Discipline is mandatory in an educational institute. Parents must understand this and al their children to follow the uniform code..We are not going to budge from our stand under any circumstance.”
