Mangaluru: Gold smuggling attempt foiled at MIA

Mangaluru: Customs officers at the Mangalore International Airport foiled another attempt to smuggle gold into the country.
On January 29, the customs officers seized 24-carat gold weighing 129.5 grams worth 6.42 lakhs.
The gold was ingeneously concealed as the steel-type push buttons stitched to kidswear.
