Mangaluru: RSS leader and Puttur Vivekananda Vidyavardhaka Sangha president Dr. Kalladka Prabhakar Bhat said that a strong Hindu society should be built for the protection of cows.

Addressing the gathering during the anniversary of Amruthadara Gaushala and the foundation stone laying for the new Gaushala in Punyakotinagara of Kairangala Bhat said that the tiger has been announced as the national animal of the country, instead of a cow. That’s why violence and conversion are relentlessly taking place.

“Though the tiger is a national animal it cannot be worshiped. Motherly devotion can be shown only to the cow,” Bhat opined.

“The tiger has been declared as our national animal only with secular thought but it is the cow that has been worshipped as the national animal for the past several years. But today, we are feeding cows to the cow slaughterers like during Mahabharath days demon Bakasura was fed with humans by hapless people, ” Bhat expressed.
