The electricity pole was unstable for days after a vehicle rammed into it. Udayavani Sudina had published an article stating that the passersby remain at risk of some unwanted accident, especially during rain or storm due to the tilted pole.

Also, the then assistant engineer at MESCOM, Mohan had written a letter to the Gram Panchayat President to fix the pole.

Taking cognizance of the issue, Ganjimutt Gram Panchayat officials have finally repaired the pole.

However, Ganjimutt Gram Panchayat President, Nonnayya Kotian said that although the tilted pole has been fixed, it is still unstable and repair works will begin soon. Also, additional measures have been taken to install street lamps on four utility poles in the area.
