Bagalkote: Boy dies after falling into canal

Bagalkote: An eleven-year-old boy lost his life after he fell into a canal in Chimmada village on Saturday.

The deceased has been identified as Aniket Kamble (11).

It is said that on Saturday morning Aniket went to fetch water and accidentally fell into the canal. Aniket did not know to swim and swept away in the strong currents of the canal flowing in full spate.

His body has been recovered and was sent to the nearby hospital.

A case has been registered.
