Mangaluru: Mysterious odour creates panic among residents; No gas leakage, clarifies police

Mangaluru: Many citizens in Mangalore city late on Thursday night reported an unknown odour, which sparked rumors of a gas leak.
The odour, which started emerging after 10 pm, was reported from places like Car street and Mannagudde
However, the City Police commissioner conducted an inspection at MRPL, HPCL, Total gas, MCF, Auto rickshaw gas stations and gas tankers in the city and said that there are no signs of gas leakage.
