Udupi: Muslim girl students, who tried to enter Milagres college in Udupi district wearing hijabs (headscarves) and burqas, were again allegedly denied entry to the premises by authorities on Friday, February 18.
Several students were seen standing outside the college gate. One of the students claimed that earlier they were allowed to wear burqas inside the campus. They would later remove them in the ladies’ room and enter the classroom.
But now the HC order has created confusion and they are denied entry into the premises for the past three days.
Contrary to their claims, a few students said that there is no such issue in the college.
